    Sharbani Roy, Arm

    Motivation to Speak

Are you excited to speak at the Women in Tech Global Conference, and what motivated you to join our community of 150,000 women in tech, minorities, and allies?

Absolutely — it’s an honor to be part of such a powerful global network. What motivated me is the shared commitment to not just growing and improving the quality of representation, but actively reshaping the tech industry into one that reflects the full spectrum of talent and perspective. I’m here to both contribute and uplift — we rise by lifting others.

    Background and Inspiration

Share with us about your background, your journey in tech, and what inspired you to develop your career in this direction?

I’ve built my career at the intersection of systems, platforms, and people — from building cutting-edge consumer products to developer ecosystems to scaling state-of-the-art AI for real-world impact. What’s inspired me along the way is the opportunity to build not just technology, but momentum for others: creating tools, pathways, and platforms that enable more people to thrive in tech.

Why is the topic “Emerging Trends & the Future of Tech” important to you?

Because it’s not just about what’s next — it’s about who gets to shape it. AI is becoming foundational across every sector, and I believe we have a responsibility to ensure its future is inclusive, ethical, and empowering. The quality of data we input to build the future directly shapes the quality of the future we create.

Who would you advise to attend the Women in Tech Global Conference and why?

Anyone looking to lead, learn, or simply feel less alone on their journey in tech. This is a space where you can find insight, inspiration, and learn from a diverse set of experiences and perspectives. Whether you’re early in your career or scaling new heights, a deep technical expert or learning how to apply it to your daily problem, you’ll leave reminded that you’re not just in tech — you’re helping weave the fabric of the future.
