Women in Tech Mentoring Program
I am currently working in a consultancy firm in Brussels. I work in EU regulatory affairs or public affairs, advising worldwide clients about the EU legislation that affects them in the field of (i) platforms, (ii) marketplaces, (iii) cyber (iv) AI (vi) product safety and (vii) children protection online. Entering the world of consulting can be scaring - as it is male dominated but also very demanding. I have done different mentorship programmes and I think I could advice European students on how to identify the policy field in which they are interested and how to quick start their career in consulting. I had to fight the impostor syndrome every single day and I have the tools to overcome it - and I think I could share what I have learnt during my time as a junior professional. I also struggled to find my first non-temporary job and I would like to help EU students that are inside the never-ending loop of traineeships.
