She was the head of FSO, which is the financial services organization, which is the group I'm aligned to, fintech. And, she's amazing. Very, very, inspiring leader, very down to earth. So I I was privileged to meet Janet. Okay. Thank you for all

that love. I see a lot of claps, a lot of love and emoji. Thank you for indulging with us.

Awesome. And there'll be time at the end for any q and a you would have. Okay. We can go to the next slide. Okay. So you may have seen our, hashtag maybe on social media of all in. That is our e y, global strategy. And I can really say where we're truly walking the talk of all in. I love every day here at e y. I feel completely, part of everything, very included. And, so, we're creating, not only, new values with each other, but building confidence, with our clients. And this, helps continue our, purpose of building a better working world. So, so, yeah, we're an all in, inclusive strategy. Okay. I guess next slide. And I'm sure you've seen the tagline on LinkedIn or other platforms shape your future, with confidence. So, joining me why one would experience an inclusive culture, growing your talents.

In the ten years I have been here, I always felt like I had a voice with my leadership or with partners. I've been able to, nurture, my well-being and, the integrity and legacy is is second to none. So, we're globally connected and you will get a a taste of our global teams later on throughout the day as, you'll be speaking with recruiters from around the world. So very proud of that. Okay. And my esteemed colleague, Anisha, is going to walk through the characteristics of an EOI professional. Over to you, Anisha.

Awesome. Wow. I feel like this was so quick. Right? We met this, amazing, you know, group of, talented professionals earlier back in May, and here we are again, me and Terry, talking to you time again about our favorite, you know, organization, of course, Right? We are proud is in the house. So welcome back to everyone that have already been a part of our sessions earlier and have engaged with us, connected with us on LinkedIn. I have also dropped our handles once again for you all in chat, but quick, reintroductions for those of you that probably don't know us, and don't know me personally. I've been with the firm for little over eight years. I'm based out of, Atlanta.

I'm one of our lead talent acquisition recruiters for the firm, and I absolutely love it every single day here. Now that being said, talking about characteristics of an professional, you see a lot of buzzwords on, the screen here. Drop in chat, what stands out to you the most out of all of these words and what relates to to you, and Terry will pick up on those while I do the talking on what's my favorite word here. So for us, what stands out the most is we are a purpose driven organization. We keep people and our clients, our communities, you know, core to everything that we do. We are a people centric organization and where absolutely the purpose is kind of the heart in, you know, the organization where we are driving value not just in terms of the amazing work that we do on a day to day basis, whether it's working emerging tech, solving complex problems, working with our clients in very highly collaborative and inclusive environments, or it's also coming together as a team and valuing differences in perspectives.

Right? So I think this slide sums it up for me because this is the kind of, you know, passion, purpose, collaboration, inclusivity, creativity, asking the right questions, all of these words which kind of speak out to you. Right? I definitely see that. So thank you for engaging with us. Collaborative, Marissa says, optimistic, purpose and outcome driven, Ranjana. I love that. We definitely believe that, you know, skills, like, for example, technical skills can always be acquired and can be learned. But what stands core to your values and your day to day disposition, you know, as you put your best foot forward is the importance of the soft skills. Right? Like, they are completely nonnegotiable. So you need to be someone that's very curious. You need to be someone that's very driven. You enjoy doing things.

You enjoy fast paced environments. You enjoy being a part of, you know, complex problem solving solutions. So if these words talk to you and, you know, they definitely excite you, then I think you're in the right place because is, that organization which clearly values this and, focuses on this and empowers you to move ahead. Yeah. Terry, go ahead.

I would I would just add, I love what everybody puts in the chat, purpose, creative. I love it. I would say collaboration. And everything you do here is in a team. You're not a rock. You're not an island. You're not off on your own, which is amazing. You can always ask for help. There's ton of resources here, and connecting with people is everything. In the last ten years, I can say, the people I have met here and to continue to collaborate here have really added to my knowledge and career development. It it's just amazing collaboration.

Yeah. I I second that, Terry. I absolutely believe in that. And, you know, before I move ahead, I definitely want each one of you that is engaging with us here today to take a moment to celebrate yourself. You're here because, number one, you're curious. You you wanna know what working at looks like. You wanna talk to Nisha and Terry and the rest of the team. You are driven, and you definitely wanna see yourself grow. Right? That's exactly the kind of energy that we need in With that, let's go ahead and explore further because this only gets more fascinating as we move along. And as we move along, let's talk about what it is to be unique, be yourself. Now this is very simple. Right? Like, be unique, be yourself.

How many times have you heard this? Right? Like, everyone tells you bring your authentic self to work, bring bring your authentic self to all relationships. Well, that is the core and a sense of who you are and what your personal brand is. How do people feel about you when you are in the room with them, and how do they feel about you when you're not in the room with them? What are they talking about you? Right? That definitely matters and that, you know, that kind of engagement, that kind of spark, that kind of curiosity that you bring is only contagious because, you know, when you are in that kind of mood, you are definitely paying it forward. You're engaging with others. You're putting your best foot forward because you're driven, you're motivated, and you have all the right skills. So it's as simple as that for me.

Be unique and be yourself. If that's your true nature that you bring to work, be authentic. Right? Given that we are in the AI age, you know, gone are the days when you say fake it till you make it. How many times have you heard that? Right? Like, I've heard that, like, growing up, I guess, you know, all my time I've heard people say fake it till you make it. Well, for me, that has completely changed. I'm not gonna fake it till I make it. I'm gonna just be myself the way I am, and I'm gonna put my best foot forward and bring myself to my work, my personal relationships, you know, my day to day, and every interaction that I have out there. So that's, you know, owning your personality and being who you truly are. Terry, I'm just curious to know if you have a different version to that.

No. I, I totally love what you said, Nisha, and I I will add that of all the companies I've worked for and I've worked for other big four and big banks, this environment is a forgiving environment. Right? We're human beings. We can make mistakes. So we learn from our mistakes. So, it's not an environment, that breeds, like, distress. Oh, I have to take care of myself or, you know, I have to watch my back. It's not like that at all. All questions are are are are, are welcome. Ask questions because don't be shy to ask questions that you need help, that you need resources because guaranteed your colleagues wanna ask the same questions.

So I continue to ask questions and and and use the resources here, and that's how I learn.

Yeah. I totally second that and, you know, beautiful perspective that you shared. So thank you for sharing because this is a very inclusive culture. It is very collaborative. And to Terry's point, no question is ever dumb or stupid. Right? Like, no one is gonna judge you for throwing a question out there. The very fact that something popped in your mind, maybe an idea, a thought, you know, maybe an opinion, whatever it is. Right? Like, having said that very unfiltered, of course, like, you know, with the true sentiment and the positive intent that you have, I will caveat that. Like, putting it out there definitely is something, where you feel more safe and, you know, you feel that, okay. If there's there's a thought or an idea that you got, like, we definitely wanna hear it, and we definitely wanna know why you think that way and what is the perspective that you bring to the table.

Right? I still, I remember and really love, our culture. One thing that I quickly wanna touch upon is, you know, we have something that we call as the aim framework here at Now what that stands for is I'll break the abbreviation for you. It's called all in the moment. So what does that mean? That means that if we are on a team call with our colleagues, with our leaders, with our bosses, and, you know, everyone is talking about a solution and idea, right, We do leverage the opportunity to have every voice heard. We do value everyone's opinion. If there is someone that is hesitant or doesn't wanna talk about their idea, they don't wanna share or they're probably too shy or scared, whatever the reason and the sentiment be.

Right? We do take a pause and the meeting organizer would say, we want everyone to, you know, be engaged and we respect and value everyone's perspective. So if you don't feel comfortable sharing your idea, going off mute, drop in chat, or maybe ping us separately and let us know what you are thinking because that's the power of, you know, the team collaboration that we bring. We definitely value that perspective. Right? So I I absolutely love that because, you know, we have had great ideas come out of that, and that definitely feels, like you, you know, makes you feel comfortable in your zone saying, hey. This is a safe space, and I can totally share without being judged on what I have to talk about. So with that, let's explore further and see what are the endless possibilities within and what you can do here. Right? So let's flip one more slide, Agni.

Thank you for that. So here, how many of us have heard, of tech careers at So people that knew us a decade, or maybe two decades back recognized us as a promising, global leader in the professional tax audit and services space. Fast forward down the line, we are one of the most innovative firms. We are the industry leaders, not just in cutting edge technology, but also working emerging tech. In fact, fun fact, as a recruiter, I see more applicants on our tech roles these days versus in the tax and accounting. So that's the kind of reverse flip that we have had, and that's exciting because, you know, when we talk of consulting, we talk of clients, we talk of emerging tech, Name it, and we're working all the areas ranging from blockchain, AI, robotics, or even plain analytics. Right? There's a place for every skill here in and for everyone that has the opportunity to engage with us and move on in their careers.

So So with that, let's talk a little bit more and dive deeper. Next slide. So here, I'll pass it on to Terry who will do a phenomenal job of talking about all these service lines within for you.

Oh, that's very nice. Thank you, Nisha. So, these are the service lines. You may have heard the has been known historically for our assurance practice, which is our audit practice, but we do so much so much more. Consulting is, the service line that Nisha and I are mapped to. So that includes, tech consulting, business consulting. In tech consulting, we are working on all, tech forms, for our fortune 500, clients, all tech stacks and helping them, modernize in this digitalized environment. So, that's consulting. And then we have strategy and transactions. It's called SAT. And that is, I would say, a traditional, kind of strategy service offerings where we are helping clients, do the due diligence and strategy for mergers and acquisitions.

So as clients are acquiring, other companies or divesting, we will help that from an m and a perspective. And then tax, we're helping, our clients, with with tax strategies domestically and globally, and also, of course, enhancing the tax technologies as tax moves to new platforms. And then core business services CBS, that is the service line that Nisha and I belong to. So, CBS is internal client facing, meaning our client is So recruiting, human resources, marketing, legal, and some areas of tech, our CBS, meaning internal, client facing. And we we help e y's business operate, day to day and do, of course, a lot of process improvement internally. And that's amazing, Teddy. So if I can quickly chime in and there are

a couple of great questions here, so I'm really loving it. Keep it coming. I want you to answer one from Maha which says with the rapid development of AI, how has this shaped e y culture and operating model? Terry, you there?

Oh, yes. Sorry. I was I was answering, something in the chat. Yeah. No worries. Alright. Yeah. So, let me go over some of the industries we serve. So we have, energy and oil and gas, which is a big, big, big emerging, technology industry for us, particularly in, like, SAP as we're we're moving, those energy and oil companies to new platforms. We have government and infrastructure, which is our GPS. So we work with, government, contracts, and and helping them modernize to new technical platforms. Financial services is near and dear to my heart. It's called FSO, financial services organizations. And there were helping, finance, banks, investment banks, fintechs, merge and, modernize their platforms. And I just got this here, pop up thing. How do I get rid of the pop up here? I'm gonna so I could see the next industry. Oh, okay. Consumer and health, which is CPG, consumer products companies, health companies. I I would say, medical companies, pharmaceutical companies. Private equity would be mapped to financial services.

So financial services includes, you know, private equity companies, banks, fintechs, investment banks, and then technology, media and community communications. So, so we're we're vastly represented in all the industries. And as an consultant, you can certainly work work across those industries, which increases your knowledge and also your network.

Yeah. I think that's great because, you know, when we talk of the sector technology focus, we are not just focusing on tech in terms of the emerging tech across the board, but also very specific niche areas that Terry was talking about in terms of government and public sector, which focuses on government and fed clients.

If you're someone that enjoys working in the fed space, then that's clearly for you. Right? The internal mobility piece at is something that is absolutely stunning because, you know, it's not only fascinating in terms of getting you empowered with focusing on your skills where you wanna, you know, obviously master and grow your, your career into, but also the opportunity to look across various global programs, rotation opportunities, working across different locations globally because we are a, you know, a power packed global organization.

We do believe in, you know, the opportunity to work out of anywhere based on your skills and, you know, we do empower you to, not only focus on your career, but also drive it as they say. So I definitely live by the tagline which says shape your future with confidence because your career is in your hands. You get all the support and the empowerment from our teams to take you there, and you can definitely navigate and, you know, steer your career, as they say, in the direction that you wanna head into. So that's amazing. This particular slide is one of our, biggest proud moments here at the firm because it talks of how we invest in our people, how we drive them, how we empower them, how we motivate them, and how we, you know, basically allow them to feel like they belong. Right?

That is a huge part of our inclusivity because we are investing in upskilling, you know, development opportunities, professional development, career agility, which, you know, probably, I would say we are one of the proud big four that does a fantastic job of, you know, not just the career agility piece in terms of the work life balance where you, get the opportunity to, basically hit upon any any areas of interest to you.

Terry spoke about the service lines. If you're someone that's in Assurant, you know, enjoys tax and audit, you can explore roles within Assurant. If you're in technology, if you're in AI, ML, data engineering, I see so many of you that have pinged in chat that, you are in that space, the analytics and data space. You definitely can engage with us. So there's plenty of opportunities. It's like opening doors to multiple, opening windows, I'm sorry, to multiple doors within the firm where, you know, you can navigate in whatever direction you wanna head to, and this is essentially what we do. So we have we are very proud to say that we have received and bagged industry awards with our e y q dot a I. That's quite a mouthful. That's, our intelligent, you know, chat GPT internal platform that we leverage on a day to day basis. That's obviously based on Gen AI.

And we leverage it not just for our people here, but also for our clients in terms of our day to day productivity. It's more like a smart assistant that, you know, excuse me, that you will in terms of not just getting creative with your resources when you're interacting with clients, but also, you know, basing it out on your efficiency in terms of a smart assistant on a day to day basis.

So that's something I'm really proud of. Of course, not to forget our degrees. Now proud to say again, we are the only big four firm that offers this degree. Right? We are offering three state of the art, you know, accredited tech MBA programs, which essentially are fully funded by Yes. You heard me right. Fully funded by Obviously, you do have to meet the prerequisites. It's not like anyone can make it in. You do have to have the credentials and the skills and the capabilities to get selected in that program. And then, of course, once you're there, you know, the two years is a breeze. We have had at least four or five cohorts since we, you know, initiated this program that have successfully graduated, and we are offering state of the art degrees.

We offer master's degree in business analytics, a master's in AI and data science, and the latest one, master's in sustainability. Now and that is really insane. Right? Like, when you think of of Yeah. Yeah. You think of our commitment to, you know, go green, go carbon neutral, like, you know, have a global footprint in that space. This is a popular degree which no other firm, you know, is offering, and I'm really feel proud about this. And not to forget our eBuy Badges. Now we offer over 200 again, I repeat, 200 digital credentials that, you know, focus on future based skills. Right? This could be tech skills. This could be soft skills. Like, we have a batch for AI. Right? We have a batch for climate change. We have a batch for data visualization.

Like, me and Teddy, amidst our work and our career, we have initiated in this program, and we have participated and we have acquired two digital badges, which we are so proud of.

Right? AI. It was awesome. What a great learning experience.

Absolutely. So this definitely gives you a lot of fuel because we are partnered with Coursera, Udemy. You heard all these big names, right, which are, you know, great content providers in terms of upscaling education and professional development, sites where, you know, you get up to 4,000 free courses that, you can avail off and you can definitely grow your career into. Right? So with that, we talked

about to mention about the degrees, Nisha?

Yeah. Sure. Please.

This MBA is fully accredited by Hult University, h u l t, in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Fully accredited. Yes. There is no other company that offers a free, tech MBA to, to everybody. Of course, as Nisha said, you have to be qualified and and and be willing to do the work, but we've had some amazing graduates in the last few years, achieve their MBA with That's all I wanted to add.

Yeah. I think that was fantastic. Thank you for that. And if you can flip on, to the next slide. I'm just looking at the time here, and we will indulge in lot of questions, so keep that coming. If you're not able to reach us, definitely join our EY booth. We have our amazing team that you see on the screen. Really proud to share this time. I love it.

Terry, if you have any parting words for our audience here.

Oh, I just I just love talking about and, I'm passionate as you could see, Nisha as well. I I'm gonna I'm gonna say something, because I've worked in a lot of companies. I have never had a bad day here at in ten years, which is amazing. I mean, yes, there are challenges. But as I said earlier, it's a very humanistic culture. You can reach out and get support. You're not working on your own. You don't have to feel paranoid every day. You know, you can basically relax into the job, and I've enjoyed that, in the last ten years. No other company I've worked for, and you can connect with me on LinkedIn. I've worked for a lot of companies and industries. I've never felt that comfort that I can really be myself and thrive and learn, from other people and contribute. So that's my parting message.
