At 6:00 PM, Chapter Leader Anjali Reddy officially opened the event with a heartfelt welcome, followed by a brief presentation from Lauren Church, Senior Sales Manager at St George, who introduced the Camden Goods Yard development and invited attendees to explore the Showhomes later in the evening.
At 6:25 PM, the spotlight turned to Seema Menon for her deeply inspiring talk, Career Journeys: A Personal Story.ย
Seema Menon: A Journey of Courage, Reinvention, and Empowerment
When Seema Menon, a leader in Scaling Strategic Tech Partnerships, took the stage, the room hushed with anticipation. With a career spanning across Cybermindr, Soroco, Sony Pictures Networks, SparkBeyond, and Headstride, Seema brought both industry insight and personal reflection to her talk, Career Journeys: A Personal Story.
In her own words, she reminded attendees that, "Leadership is about giving people the opportunity to find value in their own voice." Her narrative struck a chord โ not just as a success story, but as a roadmap for others navigating growth in tech.

"You donโt have to be larger than life. Be grounded, be content โ but also be bold enough to redefine the norms," she urged, advocating for both humility and audacity.
With every quote, Seemaโs authenticity and clarity resonated:
"You need to find your voice and the courage to express it."
"Keep breaking barriers. Keep reinventing yourself."
"True leadership isnโt about giving advice โ itโs about instilling belief."
It wasnโt just a speech โ it was a moment of collective reflection. Attendees were left energized, introspective, and ready to own their journeys.
"A heartfelt thank you to WomenTech Network, Anna Radulovski, and Valentina Vianneth Ochoa Monsalve for the incredible opportunity to be part of the Women in Tech Conference in London. It was an absolute honour to serve as the Chapter Lead and to connect with so many inspiring people.
A special thank you to Seema Menon for her powerful talk, โFrom Broadcast to the Boardroom.โ Your words โ โKeep breaking barriers. Keep reinventing yourselfโ โ truly resonated with us and left a lasting impact. It was such a pleasure to meet you!
Big shoutout to Rachele C. for her amazing support as a volunteer, and a huge thank you to Camden Goods Yard for hosting us. Looking forward to many more events like this and hoping to see you all again soon. Grateful to be part of such an empowering community." - Anjali Deepak, Chapter Leader of London at WomenTech Network
"I had the joy of attending the Women in Tech Global Conference 2025 Networking by WomenTech Network, Women in Tech Londonย in Camden (recently named the most AI-ready area in London). But what stood out even more than the location was the atmosphere in the room.
We heard from the brilliant Seema Menon, who shared her journey of stepping outside her comfort zone and redefining leadership. Her story about running a marathon before she felt ready was such a powerful reminder that growth often begins with discomfort.
One quote that really stayed with me: What made the evening even more special were the conversations that followed. I had the chance to connect with some truly inspiring women in tech, all at different stages in their careers but united by a shared sense of drive and authenticity.
Grateful for the space to reflect, connect and be inspired." - Veronica A, Analytics and AI Consultant at Capgemini Invent
Conversations and Communityโโโโโโโ
Following Seemaโs session, Anjali invited guests to tour the stunning Camden Goods Yard Showhomes, a nod to both literal and metaphorical foundations being built by women in tech. Lauren Church,ย Senior Sales Manager at Camden Goods Yard, St George,ย remained available to guide those interested in learning more about the development.
The final hour was a celebration of community: meaningful networking, delicious food, and the kind of spontaneous conversations that spark new collaborations and friendships.
