Since my school days, continuing the legacy in college and university abroad, I have been part of various clubs, extra-curricular activities that helped in my professional development and helped me enhance my knowledge. Example- Debate, extempore, Group discussion, Model United Nation (MUN) Conference, Research Projects, leading conferences and events, mentoring and what not!!

Stepping out of the comfort zone and exploring opportunities can be very helpful

Right from the school days, I was given opportunities to lead at different levels. Example- Prefectorial board, class monitor. In my undergrad days, I led different positions in Model United Nations (MUN) Conference, both as a participant (i.e. an attending delegate) and as an Executive Board Member (i.e. judging committees). Later, I led a National Level Conference as a Secretary General. It was conducted on the lines of MUN but with a focus on energy, climate and other environmental issues.

Such kinds of initiatives have not only broadened the mindset through active research and exploration but also given a platform to build network, learn from others, boost confidence and deliver impact, thereby becoming the voice at a larger level!
