Local community groups play a powerful role in encouraging female innovation. They provide mentorship and access to resources. Being apart of a local tech community based in Toronto, Ontario Canada called FemT3ch - we empower and educate women in Web3 by hosting tech events and providing them access to networking, resources and opportunity. Women from diverse industries are able to network which can lead to partnerships, start-ups or collaborative projects that may not have otherwise happened. Women are also exposed to workshops, pitch competitions and funding resources for both educational and startup purposes.
