Motivation to Speak
Are you excited to speak at the Women in Tech Global Conference, and what motivated you to join our community of 150,000 women in tech, minorities, and allies?
Absolutely! Speaking at this conference is not just an opportunity, it’s a privilege. To be surrounded by brilliant, resilient, and trailblazing women in tech is incredibly energizing. What drew me to this community is the unwavering support and shared mission of breaking barriers, lifting each other up, and making tech more inclusive for everyone.
Throughout my career, I’ve seen firsthand how important representation is. When women see other women leading, innovating, and thriving, it creates a ripple effect of confidence and possibility. I want to be a part of that movement to inspire, be inspired, and continue learning from this amazing community.
Background and Inspiration
Share with us about your background, your journey in tech, and what inspired you to develop your career in this direction.
My journey in tech started with a simple but profound curiosity how can technology make lives better? That curiosity turned into a passion, leading me down a path of innovation, problem-solving, and building impactful solutions.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working on cutting-edge, financial technology solutions, and strategic product transformations, currently as a Technical Product Manager at JPMorgan Chase. But beyond the projects and titles, what truly fuels me is the ability to bring people together to create something meaningful.
I didn’t get here alone. I had mentors who believed in me, challenges that shaped me, and opportunities that pushed me beyond my comfort zone. That’s why I’m committed to giving back whether through mentorship, research, or platforms like this conference. Because when we lift each other up, we all rise.
Why is the topic "Empathetic Leadership: How Women Influence, Lead, and Drive Impact" important to you?
Leadership is often associated with strategy, execution, and decision-making. While all of that is important, the heart of true leadership is empathy.
In a fast-paced, technology-driven world, what sets great leaders apart is how they listen, how they inspire, and how they make people feel valued. Women, in particular, bring a unique strength to leadership our ability to connect, nurture, and drive impact through emotional intelligence.
I’ve seen how empathetic leadership transforms teams it fosters trust, sparks creativity, and encourages diverse perspectives to flourish. It’s not about having all the answers; it’s about creating a space where people feel heard, supported, and empowered to bring their best selves to the table. That’s the kind of leadership I strive to embody and encourage in others.
