Marie Weijler (1991) is the first woman on the investment team of Cottonwood Technology Fund, a Dutch-American venture capital firm specialized in high-tech and hardware. She is the first Dutch female hardware investor. In addition, she is the first woman on the management team of biotech company LipoCoat, winner of the Best Medical Device Coatings Company of 2020. Marie is an honoree on the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list 2019 in the Finance category. She is the first Dutch citizen who made it to the list in this category. In 2021, she was included in Venture Capital Journal's annual ranking of 40 Rising Stars Under 40.
