WomenTech Luxembourg

WomenTech Network successfully completed its first event in the heart of Europe, Luxembourg - at Docler Holding's Luxembourg office in Kirchberg.

As featured previously in Silicon Luxembourg:

“The digital world is clearly not limited to a single gender, and the Luxembourg event proved once again that there are more and more women excelling in the field."

Women Tech Luxembourg connected companies that put diversity at the top of their agendas with female engineers, data scientists, designers, product managers and other tech talent.

The event provided the chance to network with top companies, eager to connect with female tech talent - WomenTech events are by invitation only combining communities of WomenTech Network, Coding Girls and Tallocate.

Finding the right company that lives in a truly diverse tech workspace can be a challenging process. On average, numbers from the tech world, traditionally show us that most participants at tech conferences are men and that women seldom attend or speak at these events. On November  21st in Luxembourg, women candidates were given a platform to speak via an exciting speed-networking format with companies and startups that care about diversity.

The event’s host, Docler Holding, stated:

“It is really exciting to support the WomenTech Network and Coding Girls mission and to host events that provide a platform for diversity and growth.”

After a couple of introductory talks, 85 women had the opportunity to meet a number of other technology organizations alongside that are actively recruiting at the moment and also looking for new ways to foster workplace diversity and inclusion – Agile Partner, Docler Holding, Elvinger Hoss Prussen, Lombard Odier, LUXHUB, Spire and Stokr.

With a truly global focus, WomenTech Network has targeted Luxembourg as a European stepping stone for top talent wanting to connect to leading tech firms and disruptive startups that make it their mission to focus on diversity.
