  • Please remember that any misuse or manipulation of the voting system, such as using bots, fake accounts, or any other deceptive practices to increase vote counts, may result in disqualification. It's important to uphold the integrity and respect the process to ensure the Women in Tech Global Awards remain fair and meaningful. Always follow the rules and guidelines laid out by the awards committee. Thank you for supporting and maintaining the integrity of these awards.
  • There might be a delay before your vote is reflected, due to the time it takes to process the information.
  • Voting requires you to share information publicly, so make sure you are comfortable with this before proceeding.

Khadija Usman Bio

I am a serial Entrepreneur and a Community builder with a decade's, on ground experience, in 'Entrepreneurship'.

My own struggles, as an Entrepreneur led me to create an all, working women's Community - Fempreneur. Through the Community, I have mentored many small business owners. We now have a website with:
-Women Freelancers Directory
-Women Entrepreneurs Directory
-An all-women's job portal (for recruiters & job seekers)

Fempreneur's journey led me to initiate Grit Coaches & Consultants; stemming out of the desire to do more, to serve - not only women running businesses but people at large; through the wonderful self- development tool called 'Coaching'.

My journey in trying to set-up a Marketplace for Coaches & Consultants, has had it's fair share of challenges.
But what I envision one day, as an outcome of my efforts, is to create a Platform that:

✔ Helps Coaches & Consultants get clients.
✔ Helps Solopreneurs/Startup Entrepreneurs get relevant Coaching.
✔ Helps the Youth to be better equipped to deal with real life challenges.
✔ Helping Organizations to develop its people, increasing employee satisfaction without
compromising productivity
✔ Helps people to become better versions of themselves.

Coming back to what I and my team began with - our brand Mummy & Me, stemming out of the need to provide quality Loungewear/Sleepwear for Mom & Kids after getting extensive market research done. It was created as a sub-brand of Firstsmile (kids online clothing store), of which I am the Creative Director - Its vision is to create 'ease' for Mom's so, they can get just the product they want, at a click.

So each of our ventures is backed by Market Research - with the strong values of Trust, Inclusion, Diversity and Contribution.

If I can make even a little difference, if 'only one life lives better', because of these efforts. It's all worth the weight in gold for me.
