Lourdes is a driven entrepreneur, founder and CEO of Gear Translations, an online platform powered by AI to bridge the gap between machine and professional translation in sectors such as Health & Beauty, Safety, Machinery, Legal & Financials, and Robotics. She started her company in Argentina and the platform was selected in an acceleration program by Wayra. From then on, her entrepreneurial journey included establishing offices in Spain, raising public and private investment, and leading GearTranslations to secure a client portfolio of 500 SME companies. The company has won several contests at international level, and Lourdes was selected among the ‘75 most promising women entrepreneurs’ in Spain by El Referente.
She actively supports and advises other startups and ONGs in early stages, with a focus on agile methodologies and product-market fit validation. Her mission is to share her experience with other entrepreneurs and organisations to build aggregated knowledge and networking and improve the rate of success of the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
