Addy Poot is a mechatronic engineering student, community builder and scientific communicator from Mexico. She is the director of Women Who Code Mérida, the largest community that helps women connect and expand their career opportunities in STEM areas in Yucatan. In 2018, Facebook named her "One of the World's 115 Most Inspiring Community Leaders." She is part of the Third Generation of The Innovation Academy for Women of the Americas. This 2020, one of her purposes is to become an excellent mentor of the Technovation Girls Program and continue to inspire more women and girls in science |
