By learning, doing, failing, and re-doing (and so on) in a competitive yet safe/ low-risk environment such as sports, women can gradually build their tolerance for potential setbacks in career and even other aspects in life. Personally I’ve seen myself having much greater resilience ever since I decided to take up tennis (but any competitive sport works in my opinion).
