Partner with the best

In this role, you'll work on the Linode API on our Compute team. You'll work closely with the Cloud Manager team to accomplish new and exciting infinitives. Our work environment nurtures innovative solutions, rapid development cycles, and open communication. We're a closely-knit team with a focus on agile development and innovative solutions.

As a Fullstack Software Engineer II, you will be responsible for:

• Developing new features on our the frontend.
• Creating the underlying API functionality via our REST API.
• Ensuring that Akamai's front-end applications are performant, accessible, and responsive.
• Collaborating with DevOps Engineers .
• Improving application performance, features, and reliability

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 2 years of relevant experience and a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Demonstrate experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Be up to date with the latest user interface frameworks like Material UI.
• Have prior working experience in front-end development and building large-scale applications with React.
• Be able to showcase your experience with modern CSS design patterns.
• Have experience with Python, SQLAlchemy, Flask, and PyTest.
• Possess educated views on technology and software design.
• Demonstrate solid experience with MySQL and Git.
