Akamai's Sales Operations team is collaborative, and results-orientated. Partnering with our top-notch sales and go-to-market teams, we enable and enhance their execution and productivity. We facilitate strategic planning and sales services. Our focus is driving data-driven decision-making and operational excellence across the sales organization.

Partner with the best

You'll support our Pre - Sales organization by providing strategic direction for maximizing sales operations effectiveness and efficiency. You'll work directly with the Global Leader of Pre - Sales and the global sales operations team. You'll also work with Finance, Services, Product, and Marketing, to facilitate collaboration cross-functionally and streamline processes.

As a Senior Business Operations Analyst, you will be responsible for:

• Leading sales reporting and analytics that provide timely insights
• Managing weekly / monthly / quarterly sales operation cadence to support Sales Management
• Partnering with sales leaders to set go-to-market strategies, territory design, sales targets and quotas through enhanced analytics
• Conducting additional ad hoc analysis, ensuring compliance related to use of sales tools
• Leveraging sales tools (e.g. Salesforce) to perform analytics on deal commitments and pipeline
• Providing first tier support for queries related to sales process, forecasting, tools, reporting and commissions

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have relevant professional experience in business analysis
• Possess effective analytical and quantitative capabilities with an ability to provide data-backed analysis
• Have end user experience with a CRM tool; e.g. Salesforce.com
• Have end user experience with Power BI or Tableau systems and data
• Have broad experience in working with Excel on a daily basis
• Have experience in a finance or operations role interfacing with sales teams
• Have PowerPoint skills required for managing and presenting data to an executive audience
• Demonstrate effective business-partnering skills, particularly with senior sales management
