Hands on scout and prototype new cutting edge technologies to strengthen BI's IT to become more engineering centric. By showing, teaching and mentoring, ensure the successful scaleup of cutting edge technology trends and hence lead the transformation of the IT as technology expert.

End-to-end accountable for the overall management of the IT US architecture. This includes responsibility for compliance, performance, stability and cost efficiency of all IS processes and services required to support this environment.

Accountable for a strong architecture & planning culture within the platform including the alignment of cross-functional topics (e.g. master data, BI, Infrastructure, etc).

Driving value by aligning future investments to strategy solutions/projects and ensuring delivery of business objectives.

To achieve this outcome it is necessary to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and achieve interoperability across products/applications/systems while at the same time ensuring speed and innovation. It is required to synthesize input from IT Business Analysts, Enterprise Architects, UX Designers, and Product Owners to develop a comprehensive technical strategy for this domain. In addition, leadership of Solution Architects, Operations and Capability Leads to ensure proper selection of solution architecture components is required.

The role will partner with senior leaders across all IT Functions and Business Stakeholders to drive roadmap planning, program execution, and effective governance. This position will operate at the highest levels of the organization.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Is accountable for identifying architectural risks and to propose alternatives and solutions.
  • Is accountable for defining costs and benefits of different IT solutions and the presentation of their proposals together with the IT Operations Lead and other corresponding IT and business functions.
  • Is accountable for aligning architecture with the business organization, the overall IT landscape and support service.
  • Is accountable for development, governance, review and maintenance of the Operations IT solution roadmap and Responsibility for introduction of changes or enhancements to the architecture.  
  • Is accountable for the long term planning required to develop the overall IT Budget (Project and Programs.  Works together with all IT functions to prioritize the project portfolio and allocation of resources.
  • Is accountable for scouting innovative solutions in the custom capabilities of the IT field. Overall responsible for the creation of life cycle management roadmap in domain. Is accountable for being part of the global Enterprise Architecture Board.
  • Ensure Blueprint alignment and leads other architecture colleagues in the preparation and completion of their duties and deliverables.
  • Identification, scouting and prototyping real world application of new technologies and technology trends.
  • Drive transformation thru active mentoring and technology leadership throughout the IT organization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • In lieu of a degree, twelve (12) years of relevant industry experience.
  • Must have extensive experience (ten (10) years) in the IT domain with specific experience with ERP, CRM, IT Infrastructure design, and associated operational processes.
  • Knowledge of BI's architecture roadmap and other architecture areas of focus.
  • Knowledge of systems, business environment, and related architecture.
  • Experience in working with Agile methodology.
  • Experience in process and / or project management and budget tracking.
  • Strong analytical, judgment, problem solving, organizational, planning and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated.

  • Ability to motivate others to take action.
  • History of successful performance.
  • Ability to travel (may include overnight travel).
