Here’s what you will do:

  • Coordinate and lead the development and provide guidance to the design teams during the Technology product development
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, the development team, and Scrum Master to develop, design, build, and launch software products
  • Create the product vision, strategy, and roadmap and convey them to the Scrum team
  • Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog to ensure maximum value delivery
  • Gather user requirements and translate into user stories
  • Utilize the software development lifecycle and work with agile methodologies
  • Understand and communicate the vision, strategy, roadmap, and user stories to all parties involved
  • Communicate expectations with respect to product quality, deadline, scope, and other relevant factors to the team, stakeholders, and other interested parties
  • Monitor and analyze product progress, impact, and value
  • Integrate usability studies and research into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction
  • Organize and coordinate technology product release planning with internal stakeholders
  • Travel up to 10% is required

Who you are:

  • Must have a Master’s degree in Information Systems Management, or other closely related field. Employer will accept a combination of education and experience that is equivalent to a Master’s degree in Information Systems Management or related field.
  • Must have five (5) years as a Business Analyst or Product Owner in Software Development.
  • The five (5) years of experience must involve the gathering requirements and translating into user requirements; using Agile methodologies and working with Agile teams; and working with stakeholders and delivery partners from product inception, discovery, requirements definition, and prioritization, design, development, testing, and release. Of which, 2 years of experience must have been in the Oil & Gas/ Pipeline industry. Must have the following certifications: APO (Agile Product Ownership), ATF (Agile Team Facilitation), PSPO (Professional Scrum Product Owner), and AAC (Agile Analysis Certification).
