Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Serve as the technical leader for the Digital Provisioning Service, driving architectural decisions and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead and coordinate technical and business discussions related to the future architecture direction of the provisioning platform.
  • Design and develop a roadmap and implementation plan for the service, balancing current vs. future state architecture.
  • Own technical design for the system and conduct design reviews to ensure quality and scalability.
  • Manage and prioritize the technical backlog in collaboration with product management.
  • Mentor software engineers, review merge requests, and provide guidance on best practices.
  • Oversee development in TypeScript, ensuring consistency and maintainability across the codebase.
  • Support front-end and back-end development using Angular and Node.js frameworks.
  • Participate in enterprise architecture governance and contribute to reusable platform components.
  • Research and evaluate emerging technologies and trends to keep the architecture modern and efficient.

Education Qualification

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a STEM field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in software engineering and architecture roles.

Technical Expertise

  • Deep experience with AWS CDK, Terraform, and cloud-native architectures.
  • Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Angular, and Node.js.
  • Ability to design and implement scalable, secure, and maintainable systems.
  • Experience with backlog management and technical prioritization.
  • Skilled in conducting design reviews and enforcing architectural standards.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Business Acumen

  • Ability to align technical solutions with business outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of organizational dynamics and ability to navigate complex environments.
  • Effective communicator who can articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Leadership

  • Proven ability to mentor and guide engineering teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change and drive adoption of best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
  • Knowledge of security best practices in cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with API design and integration patterns.
