Job Description

We are looking for a Microsoft Platform Solutions Architect to help shape the future of our technology stack and drive forward a platform built on Microsoft technology that enables us to scale critical application and services across all facets of support solutions.   As a successful candidate, you would work with stakeholders and within our Innovations & Architecture team with focus on solutions that affect our organization’s broad business and technical needs. You have both functional and technical knowledge of Microsoft’s PowerVA and Cognitive services as well as experience with and knowledge of Dynamics 365 customer engagement apps and related Microsoft cloud solutions.

 

The successful candidate will establish partnerships with teams inside and outside of HP enabling the latest technology, architect customer facing solutions including for example integrating our multi-lingual customer support virtual bot with the MS Dynamics OmniChannel solutions , working on architecting how we integrate 3rd party social solutions like WeChat , Line or KakaoTalk into our platforms and transforming how customers engage and manage their portfolio of HP devices and services.

Additionally, the architect will act as technology evangelist, promoting our support services gateway both inside and outside of HP as we reshape serviceability through applications interfaces within our developer communities.

 

Responsibilities

  • Have deep understanding of existing cloud platforms in the market, how network of systems and services are connected to enabling end point solutions and influence / reduce interconnectivity to improve and stabilize performance
  • Work closely with teams/partners in translating requirements or thoughts into solutions
  • Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new, functions and features
  • Engage with business units across HP to align on consistent strategy for building integrated solutions on top of Microsoft platforms
  • Identifying and evangelize emerging opportunities for internal clients applying technology in innovative and impactful ways.


 

The ideal candidate has

  • Advanced degree in computer science or computer engineering
  • Excellent understanding of Omnichannel and Power Virtual Agent
  • Good understanding of the Power Platform (Dataverse, Model Driven / Canvas apps, Power Portal )
  • Good understanding of the landscape for cognitive services, including Automatic Speech Recognition, Natural Language Processing and Natural Language Understanding.
  • Working knowledge of Azure, Amazon Web Services or other cloud providers
  • Demonstrated ability to delivering practical application of large-scale enterprise solutions with measurable business impact a plus
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work with key stakeholders to maintain alignment of the end state vision
  • Strong written and verbal communications
  • Able to work effectively within a multi-skilled team
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Eagerness to learn
  • Typically 10+ years of experience as referenced above
