This role on the Supply Chain Planning BI team will support the Reporting and Analytics (RnA) Organization driving our mission to enable a data-driven culture by making high-quality data and solutions available to every employee. We transform Certified Data to Better Insights to Educated Decisions to Meaningful Actions. Expanding this strategy, we are building a new Planning BI team. We need a passionate, collaborative, results-driven, detail-oriented leader to develop new planning analytics tools for our stakeholders.
As the Supply Chain Personal Systems Planning Analytics Product Owner, you will act on behalf of the business sponsors and stakeholders, creating and driving the future of Planning reporting at HP. You will lead the Analytics product team to determine what features will be in the product releases and define requirements for development.
Knowledge and Skills
Candidate must have demonstrated a Growth Mindset in a professional/work environment
Planning and production forecasting knowledge and experience with an understanding of the interrelationships between forecast, demand, supply, inventory, logistics TPTs, capacities, and relative costs.
Program and project management experience developing operational and dashboard reporting.
Advanced written and verbal communication, presentation, and persuasion skills; mastery in English and local language
Advanced team and project management skills, including project structuring and managing multiple work streams
Expertise of planning processes and tools
Expertise of analytics tools and techniques (Agile methodology, analytics development, software development)
Experience with SAP HANA, IBP, Tableau, or PowerBI is preferred
Supply chain & operations - job experience and demonstrated leadership
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
Responsibilities
Partner with business stakeholder groups to define and document Business Requirements
Responsible for long and short term product vision and roadmap
Manage product requirements and prioritization (backlog grooming)
Makes trade-off decisions between scope (value in Expected ROI) and schedule (higher operating expense in longer release cycles)
Sign off on functional specifications (co-owned with Biz Architect)
Writes Acceptance Criteria and provides Sign-off when testing is complete
Independently structures analytical approaches and develops project strategies by applying advanced, in-depth supply chain and industry knowledge.
Interprets data to create new processes, strategies, and tools to be used for supply chain business objectives.
Leads large, cross- functional project teams, providing mentoring and guidance.
Owns complex strategic supply chain projects from planning through to execution and provides findings resulting from project execution.
Consults with business executives on a wide range of high-level supply chain issues, including risk management and new growth opportunities.
Creates new frameworks for delivery and contributes to tools, templates, and intellectual capital.
First level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred.
Typically, 10+ years of experience in a supply chain function.
