This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
• Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
• Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
• Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
• Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the firm to accomplish common goals
• Proficiency in one or more general purpose programming languages
• Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement
• Excellent Low Level Design and Implementation
• Able to work independently with distributed development team and user base
• Strong SDLC, Agile process knowledge and implementation of best practices
• Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals
• Proficiency in Java/JEE, Oracle PL/SQL, Spring, Hibernate, Maven, Linux platforms, CI tools – Jenkins/Hudson, Junit. Exposure to integration/automated testing frameworks (Citrus, Cucumber etc.)
• Good to have exposure to REACT or Angular JS, IBM MQ, Mule or Apache Camel Knowledge, Drools and Knowledge of SWIFT Messaging Standards
• Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement
• Candidate should be hands-on software development experience in Java /JEE along with strong analytical and design skills. Candidate should be flexible to learn new technologies and should build good understanding of the financial domain
