The Role

The Director of Professional Services at Lucanet will lead and manage the global professional services organization, ensuring the delivery of impactful, high-quality services that drive customer success, operational efficiency, and long-term value creation. This role goes beyond traditional delivery: it requires a highly strategic thinker with consulting expertise, who is capable of influencing cross-functional decisions, managing complex transformations to create a future-ready Professional Services set-up, and championing AI innovation within a rapidly evolving environment. This position will also encompass responsibilities around financial and operational implementation topics (e.g., consolidation, extended planning and analysis, lease accounting, banking, and cash management), as well as organizational evolution. 

What you'll do

  • Develop a global strategy to enhance customer experiences and drive productivity and scalability.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define service offerings based on market trends and customer needs.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key clients to align services with their strategic objectives.
  • Partner with sales, product management, and R&D to deliver cohesive services.
  • Implement methodologies to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery and identify and implement process improvements.
  • Integrate AI tools and processes into operational workflows to boost delivery performance and innovation.
  • Establish KPIs to assess service performance and drive improvements.
  • Manage the financial performance of the service department, ensuring efficiency and revenue targets.
  • Promote an inclusive culture that encourages professional growth.

What you bring to the table

  • 7+ years of experience in strategic consulting or project leadership, ideally gained at a well-regarded Tier 2 strategy firm or a specialized boutique consultancy.
  • Strong focus on customer satisfaction, retention, and growth within B2B SaaS environments.
  • Deep understanding of strategic planning, business case development, and execution in a customer-facing setting.
  • Highly analytical and tech-savvy mindset with a passion for leveraging AI tools to improve processes and outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with executives and customers.
  • Understanding of financial processes and software platforms is advantageous.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
  • Skilled in using data and analytics for informed decision-making.
