But these funds have also been difficult or impossible to access, especially for individuals. Onerous paperwork, high investment minimums (~€10m) and difficulty picking a fund have all been hurdles that kept individuals out. Access has always been dominated by institutions or a select few. Enter Moonfare. 

Moonfare is revolutionising access to private equity using a fully digital platform that provides qualified investors access to selectively vetted top-performing funds within 15 minutes and at minimums as low as €50,000. Moonfare provides investors with  innovative reporting and the potential to trade their stakes in funds using our Secondary Market. We are introducing never before seen transparency and liquidity to private equity, and with our ongoing expansion across key markets in Europe and Asia, we are enabling investors around the world to reach further.

BI Analyst (m/f/div)

You will use your Data Modeling skills to create algorithms that contribute to the day to day operation of the Moonfare business, which in turn will influence how our product evolves and how customers interact with the product resulting in more investments being made! We believe in freedom and we will empower you to bring in your own ideas to influence the growth and impact of our energetic BI Team!

  • With a focus on our customers you will perform data analysis to uncover key insights into how investors interact with the product, by doing this you will hypothesise and drive improvements to the Moonfare product and how our customers engage with us
  • You will have exposure to all areas of the business and you will make a difference in how we develop
  • You will develop a deep understanding of how product & feature launches, marketing campaigns, and sales activities impact customer behaviour and the business implications of such changes
  • You will engineer ETL data processes with a variety of tools
  • You will set up KPI’s and build automated dashboards that guide the business to make informed decisions
  • We (the BI Team) pride ourselves on providing high quality data, you will help us continue this standard through data cleansing
  • We want to hear your ideas! You will bring all of your previous learnings and thoughts to the table and help us bring in new tools and methodologies to the BI Team. 

The next Moonfarian:

  • Several years of work experience with statistical data analysis
  • Working fluency in English
  • Knowledge in statistical software (we are currently using Python) and database languages (we use SQL). 
  • Experience with data visualisation tools ideally Tableau.
  • You will be facing off to the whole business, leaders, juniors and everything in between, so a clear and adaptive communication style is crucial
  • Our team is the key to our success! We need someone who understands this and is a team player who shares their knowledge and has a solution orientated mindset
  • Data Warehousing exposure (nice to have)
