Field Marketing Manager EMEA MEE

This role will contribute to the execution of the strategic marketing plan to ensure our EMEA MEE (DACH-region, Eastern Europe & CIS) pipeline goals are met. As the Field Marketing Manager MEE, you will work to build, evangelize, and execute on world-class demand creation programs using a broad range of online and offline programs to secure the conversion of inquiries to marketing qualified leads across all sub-regions. In this position you will work closely with territory and account executives, marketing stakeholders and other team members in a fast paced and rapidly growing market. Our ideal candidate demonstrates a deep understanding of digital marketing, possesses strong communication skills and is a team player with a hands-on mentality and a goal-oriented mind set.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the local field marketing team and sales on the execution of the marketing strategy and plan that aligns with corporate and MEE sales goals and includes agreed and measurable targets and objectives.

  • Design and successfully deliver cross-regional field marketing programs and activities as part of the plan that leverage the full marketing mix including integrated multi-touch programs, ABM, digital marketing, partner marketing, social media and event marketing.

  • Execute demand generation and expansion efforts through targeted communications based on functional, buyer and influencer personas.

  • Manage the follow up, nurturing and flow of marketing qualified leads to sales to meet marketing contribution targets and maximize the return on investment.

  • Track, measure and analyse marketing program success and report on program metrics.

  • Maintain industry and organizational knowledge of products and services; identify and disseminate market trends to SUSE in support of demand generation.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of technology marketing experience

  • Experience in demand creation (online and offline), ABM, partner and field marketing

  • Proven ability to build strong relationships with sales management and salespersons

  • Integrated marketing program planning & execution experience

  • Experience with sales & marketing automation systems, preferred SFDC and Marketo

  • Strong project management skills

  • Proven ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment is extremely important

  • Strong team player with a positive attitude

  • Tech savviness and internet sophistication preferred with knowledge of online marketing channels including Search, SEO, SEA, Social, and Content Marketing.

  • Self-starter with ability to hit deadlines, work independently, multi-task while working on competing priorities.

  • Solid decision making/critical thinking, organizational, planning and problem-solving skills with an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for data-driven success are a must.

  • Strong verbal and written communication in German and English, any other language like Russian, Polish or Czech is a plus

  • Travel 10-20%

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
