Uptycs enables security professionals at companies such as Comcast, Flexport and Lookout to quickly prioritize, investigate, and respond to potential threats across a company's entire attack surface.

Reporting to the Head of Integrated Marketing, the Field Marketing Manager, West Region will manage industry events, drive meetings with prospects and clients, and accelerate existing opportunities within our top named accounts using field marketing tactics throughout the Mountain and Pacific timezones.

You will work closely with all functional areas of marketing (campaigns, digital, product, and sales development) as well as other areas of the business like sales and customer success, to design, build, and execute marketing programs targeting our ideal client profile. These programs will include events, webinars, and digital marketing, as well as managing 3rd party vendors to meet meeting and pipeline requirements of account segments.

The ideal candidate is a data-driven B2B marketer with a proven track record managing events, and executing highly targeted marketing programs and is adept at regularly analyzing program effectiveness to find ways to optimize program outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic and effective regional marketing plans to build pipeline and drive revenue goals
  • Work with Marketing and Sales teams to create and execute regional marketing programs tailored to local markets and target accounts. These include in-person and virtual seminars, webinars, executive conferences & roundtables, industry events, networking events, meeting maker programs, etc.
  • Be an advocate for the sales region you support and help the rest of the marketing department understand their priorities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with channel partners and key go-to-market ecosystem partners to strengthen our value propositions, create broader market awareness and generate new business opportunities.
  • Track lead flow to ensure the appropriate Sales channels are following up with event attendees and campaign responders in a timely manner
  • Manage and monitor ROI and all leading-indicator KPI’s in Salesforce
  • Own event logistics in support of the team. From helping to book space for meetings to making sure the booth is staffed, and making sure every aspect of our events are well organized.
  • Ensure all events and marketing campaigns are delivered on time and within budget, measure and report on their effectiveness.
  • Communicate with key stakeholders by creating a high level of awareness, excitement and adoption of marketing programs
  • Support all corporate initiatives, give actionable feedback, share best practices and serve as advocate and marketing information source for the region

What You’ll Bring:

  • 4+ years of experience in relevant field or event marketing roles within a fast-paced, high-growth technology company.
  • Strong Field Marketing and Event Management expertise, personal drive, a history of career growth
  • Ability to create, manage, execute multiple events concurrently, and quickly pivot as needs change.
  • Ability to effectively communicate regional marketing plans and build buy-in with sales teams and channel
  • Strong understanding of the IT buyer, ability to create compelling events for buyer personas
  • Strong written, oral, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Excellent project management, negotiation, decision-making, and strategic thinking skills with ability to make data-driven decision
  • Ability to build trusting, collaborative relationships with peers, sales teams, distributors, resellers and customers
  • Strong sense of accountability and ownership, an ability to manage your business and clearly communicate your results back to the organization
  • Outcome-driven, analytical, and have a track record of executing creative, impactful field marketing programs
  • Ability to travel within territory
