Jessica McKellar Bio
Jessica McKellar is an author, founder, and CTO at Pilot, the largest bookkeeping firm in the U.S. In the past 15 years, Jessica has co-founded three companies with her longtime business partners she met while working on bachelors and masters degrees in computer science from MIT. Prior to Pilot, McKellar co-founded Ksplice, a company building a service for rebootless kernel updates on Linux that was acquired by Oracle. After working as an engineer at Oracle, McKellar went on to found and serve as the VP of Engineering at Zuplip, a group collaboration tool for businesses that was acquired by Dropbox. After serving as Director of Engineering at Dropbox, McKeller co-founded Pilot.
Jessica is also a former Director for the Python Software Foundation and PyCon North America’s Diversity Outreach Chair.
