  1. Utilize Social Media: Leverage platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook to announce your nomination and share your story. Explain what this recognition means to you and highlight your contributions to the tech community. Use the sharing buttons above / this page url relevant hashtags like #WTGA2023 #WomenTech, #WomenInTech, and #TechAwards. Encourage your followers to vote and share your posts.
  2. Reach Out via Email: Send an email to your contacts informing them about your nomination. Explain the importance of the Women in Tech Global Awards, and provide them with information on how they can support you by voting. Don't forget to ask them to pass the information to their own networks, this will extend your reach.
  3. Engage with Online Communities: Share your nomination news in relevant online forums and groups. This could include tech forums, ERG groups, professional networking sites, and communities focused on women's empowerment. Be sure to provide information about how to vote.

  1. Visit the profile page of the nominee you want to support on the official Women in Tech Global Awards website. (this page)
  2. On the profile page, you'll find social media sharing buttons. Click on these buttons to share the nominee's profile on your chosen social media platform(s). This could be LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, or any other platform provided.
  3. By sharing the nominee's profile using these buttons, your action counts as a vote for the nominee.

Please note the following important information:

  • Repeated clicks from the same user are tracked internally, so multiple clicks without real shares by the same user will not result in multiple votes, even if it shows multiple clicks on the front end. The system is designed internally to count unique shares only, to ensure a fair voting process.

Sarah Qureshi Bio (LinkedIn)

Dr. Sarah Qureshi is the CEO and co-founder of Aero Engine Craft Private Limited; Pakistan‘s first commercial engine and aircraft R & D company that is developing environmentally safe contrail-free aircraft engines for the global aviation industry. Sarah has a PhD degree in Aerospace Engineering from Cranfield University, UK. Her area of specialization is Aerospace Propulsion whereby she worked on the development of a contrail-free aero-engine that was derived from a patented technology. During her PhD research, Sarah assisted the inventor with patenting the contrail-free aero-engine. The invention has been granted two international patents and has a tremendous potential in bringing about an environmental revolution in the context of aviation. Dr. Sarah Qureshi, along with the inventor of technology Mr. Masood Latif Qureshi has now set up Aero Engine Craft Private Limited, to convert this patented technology into a full-scale application ready to be used by modern civil transport aircraft. Her company is seeking an immediate investment of 1 million US $ for the commercial launch of this technology.
Sarah has also recently co-invented and patented a supersonic commercial aircraft engine. She was awarded the Distinguished Aerospace Alumni Award by Cranfield University in 2020 for her leadership role and dynamic professional contributions to her field. In addition, she serves in the capacity of a Visiting Academic at the school of Aerospace at Cranfield University, where she provides technical feedback on research on environmentally safe aircraft engines. Sarah holds a Private Pilot License (PPL) and has also learned acrobatic flying while at Cranfield.
Sarah is also a prominent voice on sustainable aviation in the media. She is considered to be a trailblazer for women in STEM and an inspiration for women leaders in Aerospace around the globe. She is also an expert at the Solar Impulse Foundation where she evaluates green solutions for the world as an active member of the World Alliance for Efficient Solutions. Sarah also volunteers occasionally to impart aviation lessons to school children.
Prior to this, Sarah completed her master’s degree in the field of Aerospace Dynamics from Cranfield University, UK, working on the design of a trajectory following autopilot for the mid-air refuelling of drones. She has and also gained extensive experience of working in the local automotive and engineering industry after graduating as a Mechanical Engineer from the College of EME, NUST Pakistan.
