Promote your Nomination

Here are the instructions on promoting your nomination for the Women in Tech Global Awards:

  1. Utilize Social Media: Leverage platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook to announce your nomination and share your story. Explain what this recognition means to you and highlight your contributions to the tech community. Use the sharing buttons above / this page url relevant hashtags like #WTGA2023 #WomenTech, #WomenInTech, and #TechAwards. Encourage your followers to vote and share your posts.

  2. Reach Out via Email: Send an email to your contacts informing them about your nomination. Explain the importance of the Women in Tech Global Awards, and provide them with information on how they can support you by voting. Don't forget to ask them to pass the information to their own networks, this will extend your reach.

  3. Engage with Online Communities: Share your nomination news in relevant online forums and groups. This could include tech forums, ERG groups, professional networking sites, and communities focused on women's empowerment. Be sure to provide information about how to vote.

  4. Virtual Meet-ups/Webinars: If you have the means to host a virtual event or webinar, consider sharing your experience in the tech field and discussing your nomination. This could also be a great opportunity to highlight the significance of women's role in technology.

How to Vote

Here are the instructions on how to vote for a nominee in the Women in Tech Global Awards:

  1. Visit the profile page of the nominee you want to support on the official Women in Tech Global Awards website. (this page)

  2. On the profile page, you'll find social media sharing buttons. Click on these buttons to share the nominee's profile on your chosen social media platform(s). This could be LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, or any other platform provided.

  3. By sharing the nominee's profile using these buttons, your action counts as a vote for the nominee.

Please note the following important information:

  • Repeated clicks from the same user are tracked internally, so multiple clicks without real shares by the same user will not result in multiple votes, even if it shows multiple clicks on the front end. The system is designed internally to count unique shares only, to ensure a fair voting process. 

  • It's completely acceptable to share multiple times, across different days and platforms, as long as you genuinely share the information and engage with your network.

  • Please remember that any misuse or manipulation of the voting system, such as using bots, fake accounts, or any other deceptive practices to increase vote counts, may result in disqualification. Tina Chakrabarty is an Executive Data Leader who has experience of working as a trusted advisor to the C-Suites of Fortune 100 companies across various industries companies on their critical data management initiatives and help them finding the optimal and innovative solution to their data related problems keeping business purpose and best standards into consideration.
She has proven track record of transformational & visionary leadership by helping organizations innovate, thrive, and grow while navigating shifts in the market, data policies and digital economy.
She has been a Strategist and Change Agent with an executive-level grasp on revenue growth tactics, mitigating risks, and organizational development across the entire business cycle. She has built reputation for transforming complex business challenges into focused solutions and change opportunities
She is a strong advocate of Inclusion and diversity who mentors and empowers women to leverage their full potential and advance their professional and personal brand.

She is currently working as the Director of Insights and Data, Financial Services, where she heads the Insights and Data practice of Canada where she is responsible for enhancing Capgemini’s footprint of Insights and Data in Canadian market by bringing innovation and global data expertise to Canadian clients across financial industries along with building “Trusted advisor” relationship with them. She is responsible for building out the Go-To-Market strategy for Capgemini Canada's I&D practice to expand our strategic presence across key client accounts, to win new clientele, to enhance our workforce by attracting top talents to our company, or by being in the top 3 providers in the insights and data industry of Canada. She is the Engagement lead of Inclusion and diversity for Capgemini Canada, advocates for creating inclusive work culture by recruiting more women force in the organization and promoting women leadership.

She has been nominated for the 100 most powerful women of Canada in 2021. She is currently working as an Advisory Member of Standards Council of Canada, a federal crown corporation for their Data Governance Standardization Collaborative group. She is the Toronto Chapter Lead of DAMA International, to promote concepts of data management in Canadian market
She is the advisory Member of Women in Data, a non-profit organization that mentors and empowers women in the field of data management and data science and also, advisory member of Women in Technology.

She has also worked as Digital Transformation Lead in Accenture, The Coca-Cola Company, EY, Cognizant Technology Solutions and has been an identified influencer in the Data Industry across North America.

She has completed her executive MBA education from Harvard Business School, has an MBA from top 10 B-Schools of Canada, and has an undergrad degree in Computer Science and Technology
