This presentation will look at Java and how I have evolved into a Java developer with some tips and tricks along the way to encourage and engage in all that are interested and wanting to learn Java.


Bio

Alison McNamara has an Honours degree in Information Technology as well as a Masters and PhD from NUI Galway, Ireland. She currently resides in Germany where she works as a Senior Java developer. She has over 10 years working in various areas in technology such as healthcare, eBooks, insurance, publishing and 5G networks. She recently created a YouTube channel for people who want to learn Java called Java with Ali - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCa3srUdL0Hg759kxWvH_cAQ. She also has two Udemy courses https://www.udemy.com/course/learn-beginners-java and https://www.udemy.com/course/learn-java-programming-part-2 that are available for anyone who wants to start learning Java.
