Session: Management in a post COVID tech world: what still holds true and what needs a (r)evolution
Many industries, especially tech, are focusing on re-orienting themselves as we move past the phases of COVID-19 and look towards the future. What are some strategies to thrive? How can managers adapt to an increasingly changing workforce demographic with remote work becoming the new normal? What assumptions about work and the workplace still hold, and which ones need to evolve? This session will cover some strategies for managers to set themselves up for success in the coming decade.

Bio: Bushra Anjum
Bushra Anjum, Ph.D., is a Health IT data specialist currently working as the Data Analytics Manager at a San Francisco based startup Doximity. Aimed at creating HIPAA secure tools for clinicians, she leads a team of analysts, scientists, and engineers working on product and client-facing analytics.
Dr. Anjum is a regular speaker at the Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing Conference, Richard Tapia Celebration of Diversity in Computing Conference, STARS Celebrations, CRA-WP Grad Cohorts, to name a few. She has been recognized by Tribune as a Top 20 under 40 Professional for career excellence with a deep commitment to community service.
