Session: The Power of the Pivot: Leading Fearlessly When You Don’t Have All the Answers
After two decades in media and tech, I made a bold move of stepping into a senior leadership role in gaming, leading multi-functional, operations-heavy teams in areas I had never managed before.
It was both exhilarating and uncomfortable, and it taught me that leadership today isn’t about having all the answers. It’s about curiosity, courage, and building trust in the unknown.
In this talk, I’ll share how I navigated imposter syndrome, learned to lead experts in disciplines outside my own, and discovered the real power of reinvention in my 40s. Attendees will walk away with practical strategies for leading across complexity and embracing career pivots as opportunities for growth, not setbacks.
This session is for anyone who’s ever felt “not ready” for the next level, and for every woman who’s quietly redefining what leadership looks like in tech.
