With the need for business insight we have seen the evolution.of Data teams drive to become more agile with their approaches in developing insights. But what does this means for the future of Analytics. The need to introduce lean methodology alongside the drive for optimising organisations has also been a driver.
The last 10 years we have seen business intelligence, data warehousing , big data platforms, data science, ETlL practices transform into Data and Analytics which now leads organisations Digital transformations into the realms of DataOps and DevOps.
This presentation will highlight the past, the present and give insight into the future.

Bio: Liza Layne
Liza is an experienced Technical Strategic leader of BI & Analytics for over 15 years has seen her become a known champion and advocate for inclusion and diversity in tech.
After graduation, she began her career in the financial services industry as a software engineer and eventually on a path of working in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics. She enjoyed the technical side of working with data, along with the creative side of visualising data insights. Almost a decade into her career, she decided to get her master’s degree in big data and data analytics at the University of Westminster.
Joining AnitaB.org in 2017 as a volunteer has driven her to forge growth in AnitaB.org’s London Chapter and her vision is to empower women to get into tech and stay there!
