Prerna Mahajan is a global Women in Tech award winner for her passion to serve and mentor others while fostering diversity, equity and inclusion. She's been a speaker on Oprah Winfrey’ show, many Women in Tech forums and featured on Social platforms to raise awareness on various well-being topics. She has been mentoring through LeanIn Circle Leader, Women in Technology forums, DEI committees and California statewide Leadership academies. She is also founder of Meeraan foundation with her two young kids to bring awareness on how families and kids can give back to the community.She is an innovative and purpose driven "go-to" leader with 19 years of experience leading business transformation, IT strategy, portfolio and program management and application modernization for large enterprise IT system implementations with Fortune 500 organizations as well as State of California, Texas, South Carolina and Oregon.
Her passion for public service and purpose to serve made her join state service after working in private sector for more than 15 years. Before joining the public sector, she was the Program Manager at Deloitte Consulting LLP. In her short tenure with the State of California, she has taken various executive roles and been pivotal in managing large scale statewide project and product portfolios leveraged by multiple departments.
She continues to look for ways to learn and grow while giving back to the society and help grow others along the way!
