Session: Reverse Mentoring for Digital Transformation: A Practical Playbook for Modern Teams
Today’s early- and mid-career employees didn’t adopt technology - they were shaped by it. They’ve grown up in a world defined by social platforms, global connectivity, instant information, and fluid digital culture. Their worldview, communication style, and risk tolerance are fundamentally different from those of most senior leaders. And that gap is now one of the biggest barriers to innovation.
Leaders who want to stay relevant, understand today’s consumers, and make decisions grounded in how the world actually works can’t rely only on their own lived experience. They need direct access to the perspectives driving modern behavior, not through dashboards or reports, but through the people living it every day.
Reverse mentoring is that bridge.
By pairing senior leaders with early- and mid-career talent in a two-way learning relationship, reverse mentoring unlocks real-time insight into emerging tech, social trends, digital behaviors, and cultural shifts.
Leaders gain fluency. Rising talent gains visibility, sponsorship, and influence. And organizations gain a true competitive advantage: more innovation, more inclusion, and far deeper alignment with the customers they serve.
In this session, you’ll learn how reverse mentoring actually works, why it matters, and how both leaders and rising women in tech can use it to accelerate growth, expand impact, and strengthen cross-generational collaboration.
