Session: Deepfake & AI driven Frauds- Largest Challenge in payment security in the next decade
One of the most passionate topics I am currently halfway through writing a research paper on is unmasking the next-generation threat to payment systems, specifically AI-driven frauds- I intend to speak on the evolving landscape of AI-enabled frauds resulting from the use of complex algorithms to mimic legitimate behaviors. Most recent investigations show that AI-driven frauds have surged by approximately 35-40% in the past three years. Broad learning objectives from the session would be;
1) Identifying fraud types(traditional Vs. AI-enabled frauds), Analyzing data trends (Statistical trends, the economic impact of AI frauds on payment ecosystems)
2) Ecaluate Case studies- Review real-life instances of the use of AI for fraud detection and as a tool to commit fraud.
3. Explore Technological Countermeasures and & Strategic frameworks- ML models for anomaly detection and zero trust architectures. Prevention frameworks to ensure proactive risk management & rapid responses.
