This recognition is deeply meaningful to me. It represents not just an individual milestone, but the journey of persistence, learning, and impact over many years in technology and leadership. My career has been shaped by building systems that scale, making complex technology practical, and advocating for responsible and inclusive use of AI. This award reflects the belief that long-term impact in tech comes from combining technical excellence with integrity, mentorship, and a commitment to creating space for others to grow.
Tech Industry's Most Rewarding Aspects
In your experience, what is the most rewarding aspect of working in the tech industry, and how has it influenced your career path?
The most rewarding aspect of working in tech is the ability to turn ideas into real-world impact at scale. Technology has the power to improve decision-making, efficiency, and trust across industries. This has strongly influenced my career path I’ve consistently chosen roles where I could work at the intersection of engineering, strategy, and governance, ensuring that innovation is both powerful and responsible.
My Tech Career Milestone
Could you share a defining moment or a key achievement in your tech career that has been particularly impactful or meaningful to you?
One defining moment in my career was moving from purely technical leadership roles into AI governance, where I could help shape the responsible AI landscape at both organizational and ecosystem levels. Leading large-scale AI and data initiatives while embedding governance, ethics, and accountability into their design has been especially meaningful. This experience reinforced my belief that true innovation is not just about what technology can do, but how thoughtfully it is deployed.
Empowering Women in Tech: Real Stories, Career Advice, and Tips
From your experience, what essential advice and practical tips would you offer to women aspiring to establish a successful career in tech?
My advice is to build depth before chasing visibility. Strong fundamentals, continuous learning, and hands-on experience create long-term confidence and credibility. Speak up even when you feel uncertain, growth often happens before confidence catches up. Seek mentors, but also sponsors who will advocate for you. Finally, don’t underestimate the value of resilience and self-belief; your perspective is needed, even when the room doesn’t look like you.
