    Reflecting on My Journey

As a Women in Tech Global Awards 2025 winner, what does this recognition mean to you, and how does it reflect your journey and impact in tech?

Winning the Women in Tech Community Award, both globally and in the U.S. means a lot to me on a very personal level. It feels like recognition not just for the work I do in tech, but for why I do it.

My journey reflects a conscious decision to build technology that solves real, often overlooked problems. Mama’s Feelings Tracker wasn’t created to follow trends; it was built to support mothers through the emotional realities of motherhood, using technology as a tool for connection and care.

Receiving this award confirms that when technology is built with intention and empathy, it can create real community-level impact.

    Tech Industry's Most Rewarding Aspects

In your experience, what is the most rewarding aspect of working in the tech industry, and how has it influenced your career path?

For me, the most rewarding part of tech is seeing something you build actually help people. It’s powerful to know that an app, a feature, or a simple idea can reach someone at the right moment and make their day a little easier.

That’s what shaped my career path. I’ve been drawn more and more toward building things that have real meaning, products that support mental health, emotional awareness, and everyday struggles. Tech gives me the tools to turn personal experiences into something useful for others, and that’s what keeps me motivated.

    My Tech Career Milestone

Could you share a defining moment or a key achievement in your tech career that has been particularly impactful or meaningful to you?

One of the most meaningful moments for me was when mothers started telling me that Mama’s Feelings Tracker helped them feel understood or less alone. That feedback hit me deeply.

It changed how I define success. It wasn’t about downloads or metrics anymore, it was about impact. Knowing that something I built could support someone during a hard moment is what made me fully commit to building tech with heart, not just functionality.

Empowering Women in Tech: Real Stories, Career Advice, and Tips

From your experience, what essential advice and practical tips would you offer to women aspiring to establish a successful career in tech?

My biggest advice is: don’t wait until everything feels perfect. Most people in tech are learning as they go. Start, even if you feel unsure.

Keep building your skills, stay curious, and don’t be afraid to ask questions. And most importantly, find your people. Community matters more than you think.

Also, remember that your perspective is valuable. Women bring a lot to tech, not just technically, but emotionally and creatively, and that’s something we shouldn’t downplay.

Who would you recommend to join the WomenTech Network, and why?

I’d recommend the WomenTech Network to any woman in tech, no matter where she is in her journey, students, career switchers, founders, leaders, or women returning after a break.

What makes WomenTech special is the sense of belonging. It’s not just about opportunities or visibility, but about knowing you’re not alone. Being part of a global community like this can be incredibly empowering and motivating.
