Reflecting on My Journey
As a Women in Tech Global Awards 2025 winner, what does this recognition mean to you, and how does it reflect your journey and impact in tech?
This recognition means a lot because it validates a journey that started very far from the “traditional path” in tech. I come from law, I built an EdTech from scratch in Latin America, and I’ve always believed that technology can democratize opportunities. Being part of this list feels like a reminder that impact and innovation can come from any background when you dare to build.
Tech Industry's Most Rewarding Aspects
In your experience, what is the most rewarding aspect of working in the tech industry, and how has it influenced your career path?
The most rewarding part is seeing ideas turn into real solutions that change someone’s life. In our case, helping thousands of students learn better and feel supported. Tech pushed my career in a direction I never imagined, it gave me scale, speed and a sense of purpose.
My Tech Career Milestone
Could you share a defining moment or a key achievement in your tech career that has been particularly impactful or meaningful to you?
A defining moment was when our first 10,000 students wrote to us saying they finally felt seen and accompanied. That’s when I realized Estudiantes Digitales was not just a platform... it was a community, and tech made that possible. That clarity changed everything for me.
Empowering Women in Tech: Real Stories, Career Advice, and Tips
From your experience, what essential advice and practical tips would you offer to women aspiring to establish a successful career in tech?
Start before you feel ready, yes, don’t wait for the perfect title, skillset or permission. Build projects, test ideas, ask questions, and surround yourself with people who believe in your potential. And when you fail, because you will, take it as data, not as identity.
Who would you recommend to join the WomenTech Network, and why?
Anyone who’s looking for community, mentorship and visibility, especially women building impact-driven projects. WomenTech is a space where you can find support, collaboration and opportunities that genuinely open doors.
