Local Impact in a Global Landscape

The global tech industry continues to evolve, and so do the challenges professionals face. With global tech layoffs slowing but still affecting over 230,000 professionals in 2024 (sources: TechCrunch, TrueUp.io), and tech job postings down 35% year-over-year (CompTIA), the need for connection and opportunity in tech has never been greater.

Against this backdrop, our recent local event series became critical. Following our global virtual Job Fair & Career Summit, we hosted in-person events in Atlanta, Buc, Barcelona, Seattle, Bangalore, and San Francisco. These gatherings provided not just networking, but tangible career opportunities in a time when connections matter more than ever.

By creating local spaces where women can feel seen, supported, and empowered, WomenTech Network is helping ensure that progress in the industry doesn’t stall—it accelerates, with women leading the way.
