Women in Tech Job Fair & Career Summit 2025: San Francisco Connect Event

The Women in Tech Job Fair & Career Summit in San Francisco brought together an inspiring blend of innovation, opportunity, and mindfulness — hosted by Headspace. The evening began with warm conversations, networking, and plenty of great food, setting the perfect tone for meaningful connections between attendees, recruiters, and industry leaders.

The event served as a dynamic space where women in tech could explore new career possibilities, connect directly with hiring partners, and gain first-hand insights into the evolving technology landscape. It was an evening that celebrated not just professional advancement, but also the importance of balance, well-being, and self-awareness in building long-term, fulfilling careers.

Learning from a Leader: Fay Kallel on Vision, Action, and Empowerment

The highlight of the night was the keynote session with Fay Kallel, Chief Product & Design Officer at Headspace, whose talk combined technical insight with genuine authenticity. She spoke in depth about AI, security, regulations, and the rapidly changing tech environment, addressing how innovation must always be accompanied by responsibility and care for the user experience.

Fay’s reflections resonated strongly with the audience — especially her ability to connect complex technological concepts with everyday human impact. She shared three guiding principles that have shaped her leadership journey:

    • Vision: setting a clear direction grounded in purpose.

    • Action: taking bold, meaningful steps toward progress.

    • Passing the baton: empowering the next generation to lead and innovate.

For over an hour and a half, Fay engaged in an open, thoughtful Q&A session that attendees described as one of the most candid conversations they’d ever experienced at a WomenTech event. The dialogue flowed naturally, sparking curiosity and inspiration. At moments, it felt as if she was about to map out the entire architecture of Headspace itself — a testament to her transparency and depth of expertise.

    Mindfulness Meets Technology

True to the spirit of Headspace, the evening also featured a three-minute guided meditation — a collective pause that reminded everyone of the importance of balance and presence, even amid ambition and growth. This brief but powerful exercise offered attendees a reset, grounding the energy of the evening and reinforcing the idea that mindfulness and productivity are not opposites but allies.

    Building a Community of Opportunity

Beyond the insightful discussions, the event created a thriving environment for career exploration. The Women in Tech Job Fair & Career Summit provided direct access to hiring teams and tech innovators eager to meet diverse talent. Attendees explored opportunities across AI, design, data, and product, forging new professional connections and discovering companies committed to inclusivity and impact.

The night ran seamlessly thanks to the thoughtful coordination of Lyndsey Lustig, Lead Talent Advisor, Tech at Headspace, whose dedication ensured every detail contributed to a warm and welcoming atmosphere. From the moment guests arrived to the closing conversations, the event reflected both the Headspace ethos and the WomenTech Network’s mission: to empower, connect, and inspire women to lead in technology with purpose.
