As McKesson Corporation's Executive Vice President & Chief Information and Technology Officer, Nancy Avila is the driving force behind the company’s tech projects. From software to operations, she oversees infrastructure development tools and processes, application maintenance strategies for security purposes.

Before joining McKesson, Avila had already established a successful career as the CIO of Johnson Controls, overseeing information technology, cybersecurity and analytics. She acquired extensive knowledge in this field over her 22 years at Abbott where she held various IT leadership positions.

In 2019, Avila was honored as a Futurist Leader by the Greater Milwaukee Women’s Fund due to her unwavering dedication to diversity and inclusion. Moreover, she proudly serves on the boards of the Dallas Regional Chamber, Comerica Bank Element Analytics and Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.
