Chinatu Uzuegbu is a Cyber Security Consultant: with RoseTech CyberCrime Solutions Ltd. RoseTech is a Cyber Security firm tailored around providing Cyber Security solutions and facilitating Cyber Security workshops. She has a concern about the rate of frauds and abuse emanating with Technology and the passion in proffering solutions.
She is the President of (ISC)2 Nigeria Chapter. (ISC)2 Nigeria Chapter was awarded in the 2020 (ISC)2 Global Chapter Recognition in EMEA.
Top 50 Women in Cyber Security, Awardee, Africa, 2020 accolade. She is recently recognised as a WomenTech Global Ambassador, Worldwide and also Member of the Advisory board of VigiTrust.
Prior to RoseTech, she had acquired over 14years wealth of experience as an IT Professional inclusive of Information Security . She worked in the bank(s) namely Afribank Nigeria Plc(2007 to 2010), Mainstreet Bank Limited(2010 to 2015) as an Information Technology Custodian touring round the various fields of Information Technology including Enterprise Applications Development, Information Security, E-Channels, Core Banking and Third Party Applications. She also worked with Skyebank Plc(2015 to 2016) as a Business Relationship Manager. Her other years of experience were spent thus: Head, Information Technology(Afribank Insurance Brokerage-2004 to 2007), Senior Information Technology Officer(Nigeria Distilleries Limited-2002 to 2004) and Computer Instructor(Multinet Computers Limited and others(2000 to 2002).
While in Afribank Nigeria Plc, in 2008, she under-studied an Information Security Expert from ATOS Origin, London, then hired for a restructuring and inculcating Information Security into the Information Technology arm of the bank. This spurred her to build and establish her career in Information/Cyber Security subsequently.
Professionally, she is CCISO, CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH as well as other related IT certifications.
Educationally, She completed a Leadership/ Management Course with London Graduate School in Collaboration with Common Wealth University in 2020. Her MSc. in Information Systems Management was from University of Liverpool, UK in 2011 and her BSc. in Computer Science/Mathematics was from University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria, 1998/1999. She is a professional member in good standing with (ISC)2, ISACA, EC-Council, and CSEAN-Cyber Security Experts Association of Nigeria. She has attended both International and Local Cyber Security and Technology Conferences as either a Delegate or a Volunteer.
