Akamai Technologies, Inc. is hiring for the following role in Cambridge, MA (multiple openings): Software Engineer Senior. Perform software engineering duties in furtherance of design and implementation of custom web applications, largely around authentication, authorization, and identity-related products; design, implement, automate, and support all aspects of the product; participate in the architecture, design, development, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support of software solutions; develop new applications, improve current systems and bring new capabilities to our customers; contribute to our automated test suite, including unit, functional, integration, and end-to-end tests in labs and QA environments; improve current functionality and bring new features to the software platform. Required Qualification:

Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, Information System Engineering, Information Technology, Information Assurance and Cybersecurity, or Telecommunications Engineering and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or closely related software engineering role.

Must Have: One (1) year of experience in at least four (4) of the following skills: Object Oriented Programming, Java, JavaScript, Python, SQL, Oracle/MySQL DB, REST, Spring, Git, SVN, JUnit, Jira, Docker, Unit shell scripting, SAP, Azure, Networking.
