We are looking for a Software EDA Engineer to join a growing, dynamic, and multi-cultural engineering team at the heart of a worldwide semiconductor CAD community. If your passion is to work in a challenging environment with a tremendous learning & growth potential, you can become one of us.
Your job will be to:
  • Build programable cell libraries with the most basic devices (pmos, nmos, resistors, ...) to enable a large internal design R&D community in creating leading edge solutions in the newest foundry nodes.
  • Develop, debug and support software tools and scripts to enable the same internal design R&D community.

 
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Build and support technology libraries for a broad number of foundries and nodes.
  • Take part in the development of new tools, scripts, web interfaces, among others e.g.
  • Develop utility programs to aid or automate day-to-day repetitive tasks
  • Network with senior internal and external personnel in own areas of expertise
  • Work with a team of world-class engineers who are willing to help when needed and are happy to receive help when offered


Key Qualifications:

  • University degree in Electrical/Computers Engineering
  • 3 years of relevant experience
  • Good programming skills in at least one language (C, C++, Java, ...).
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (TCL, Python, Perl, bash).
  • Background knowledge of circuit theory
  • Experience with UNIX/Linux environment
  • Background knowledge in databases (SQL/NoSQL/ELK)
  • Capability to produce adequate technical documentation.
  • Exceptional desire to learn, explore new technologies and demonstrate good investigation and problem-solving skills.
  • Good English communication skills
