We are looking for a Software EDA Engineer to join a growing, dynamic, and multi-cultural engineering team at the heart of a worldwide semiconductor CAD community. If your passion is to work in a challenging environment with a tremendous learning & growth potential, you can become one of us.
Your job will be to:
- Build programable cell libraries with the most basic devices (pmos, nmos, resistors, ...) to enable a large internal design R&D community in creating leading edge solutions in the newest foundry nodes.
- Develop, debug and support software tools and scripts to enable the same internal design R&D community.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Build and support technology libraries for a broad number of foundries and nodes.
- Take part in the development of new tools, scripts, web interfaces, among others e.g.
- Develop utility programs to aid or automate day-to-day repetitive tasks
- Network with senior internal and external personnel in own areas of expertise
- Work with a team of world-class engineers who are willing to help when needed and are happy to receive help when offered
Key Qualifications:
- University degree in Electrical/Computers Engineering
- 3 years of relevant experience
- Good programming skills in at least one language (C, C++, Java, ...).
- Knowledge of scripting languages (TCL, Python, Perl, bash).
- Background knowledge of circuit theory
- Experience with UNIX/Linux environment
- Background knowledge in databases (SQL/NoSQL/ELK)
- Capability to produce adequate technical documentation.
- Exceptional desire to learn, explore new technologies and demonstrate good investigation and problem-solving skills.
- Good English communication skills
