Bolo assumed a leadership role in expert meetings, mentoring, inspiring and motivating others regional and international such as the SADC, African Leadership Congress and the United Nations. During the year 2008 and 2009, Bolo attended the Botswana Parliamentary meetings while she was still working for Ministry of Agriculture. She was recognized as the Space for women ambassador to Botswana.
