Job Summary

Organizes and analyzes tax forms for filing in accordance with regulations and as directed by management.

Job Requirements

•    Responsible for tax technical analysis, identification, and accurate reporting of all EMEA region tax filings and reporting obligations 
•    Work closely with the US Tax and EMEA Finance teams to ensure complete and accurate tax reporting for US GAAP and local statutory financial statements
•    Engage and collaborate with the finance function and key business unit stakeholders to develop an understanding of the business strategies and pro-actively support the business in driving opportunities in tax and ensuring tax implications of business strategies are understood.
•    Lead audit defense activities across the region in close coordination with US based headquarter tax team colleagues and financial leadership
•    Liaise with external auditors and advisors on special projects and planning initiatives
•    Ability to effectively plan, manage and prioritize work to timely and consistently meet objectives of multiple or competing priorities and projects 
•    Oversee and communicate EMEA cash tax forecasting
•    Develop and mentor tax team members

•    8+ years of experience in a Big-4 firm or multi-national company with increasing responsibilities, experience people management
•    Chartered Tax Adviser and Chartered Accountant designation preferred
•    Experience in both public accounting and corporate tax departments is preferred
•    Extensive experience with VAT filings, planning and controversy is required
•    Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
•    Experience with MS Office, SharePoint and Oracle preferred

Education

Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience.
