Role Summary

We are looking for a Senior SAP S/4HANA Production Planning (PP) Consultant with strong expertise in Manufacturing and embedded PP‑DS to support complex SAP S/4HANA implementations, rollouts, and support programs. The role will focus on end‑to‑end delivery of S/4HANA Manufacturing solutions, including advanced planning, CTO/ETO scenarios, PP‑DS optimization, and deep integration with QM, procurement, and logistics processes.

 

Take the Lead with These Responsibilities (Your Impactful Responsibilities)

SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing & PP Leadership

  • Lead end‑to‑end SAP S/4HANA PP implementations including scoping, design, configuration, testing, Go‑Live, and transition to Application Management (AM).
  • Design, build, and validate global core templates and support multi‑country rollouts.
  • Provide deep functional expertise on SAP S/4HANA Production Planning and Manufacturing processes.
  • Guide Development and Integration teams with PP and manufacturing best practices.

 

Embedded PP‑DS & Advanced Planning

  • Configure and support embedded PP‑DS in SAP S/4HANA.
  • Design PP‑DS solutions for Configure‑to‑Order (CTO) and Engineer‑to‑Order (ETO) business models.
  • Configure and optimize PP‑DS Optimizer for complex planning scenarios.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot PP‑DS master data, including reconciliation between ECC and S/4HANA.
  • Support advanced planning capabilities including: 
    • MRP Live
    • Demand‑Driven MRP (DDMRP)
    • Advanced ATP (aATP) and BOP
    • Detailed scheduling and capacity planning

 

S/4HANA Transformation & Delta Changes

  • Support S/4HANA conversion and transformation activities, including: 
    • Table mapping and simplification item handling
    • Data synchronization and post‑processing
  • Drive adoption of S/4HANA innovations such as: 
    • Business Partner (BP) model and CVI
    • Simplified inventory and sourcing
    • Procurement and Procure‑to‑Pay cycle
    • Enterprise Management master data
  • Support Fiori adoption, including: 
    • Fiori app usage for PP and Manufacturing
    • New user experience and process simplifications

Integration & Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Configure and support PP–QM integration, including shop‑floor quality processes.
  • Collaborate with MM and Procurement teams for material planning and purchasing integration.
  • Work with Logistics and Supply Chain stakeholders to ensure end‑to‑end process alignment.
  • Participate actively in scaled Agile or SAP Activate methodologies.

Core Technical & Functional Expertise

  • 10+ years of SAP consulting experience focused on PP / Manufacturing.
  • Hands‑on experience with at least two SAP S/4HANA implementations.
  • Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA Production Planning, including: 
    • BOMs, Routings, Work Centers
    • Production Orders, MRP, Capacity Planning
  • Strong hands‑on experience with embedded PP‑DS.
  • Proven experience with CTO / ETO planning models.
  • Strong understanding of S/4HANA logistics and manufacturing simplifications.
