Session: Future Proof Your Workforce| Change The Mindset "Working Hard + Long is A Badge of Honor"

A strategy for tech companies to future proof their workforce is to change the company culture + mindset that overworking is a "badge of honor."

This mindset is subtle and most companies don't know it exists.

Leaders have an opportunity to be an example of what’s possible and highlight and shift the belief that “working hard and long hours” is a badge of honor.
Overworking, and the lack of balance between work and life is the #1 reason for burnout and women exiting the tech industry.

Post pandemic, the importance of our identities tied to our work has drastically reduced.

I have a neuroscience based cognitive behavioral Playbook teams can use to identify if this mindset exists, change your culture, and future proof your workforce.

Key Takeaways

  • A few post pandemic workplace trends include a rise in people separating their "identity" from work, and a need for work/ life balance. You will learn how to think strategically about how to support these trends in your corporate culture.
  • Learn how to identify the subtle and not subtle ways the mindset of "working hard/working long hours/long lists of deliverables" are impacting your culture, DEI, and retention efforts.
  • Learn a simple neuroscience based Playbook you can start using immediately to change your company and or team culture, and directly impact DEI and future proof your workforce.
