Our Team operates within the ZeroTrust Security Group, which develops and maintains cutting-edge security solutions for Akamai enterprise customers. In close collaboration with Development, Product, Support, and Sales Engineering teams, our primary mission is to enable the business to produce high-quality and secure products, enhance the security features of our products and ensure robust protection for our customers.

As a Software Engineer Senior II, you will be responsible for:

• Developing and promote best practices to support the team in achieving their technical tasks and continually enhance technological aspects of the product and team
• Collaborating with team members in the development process, creating modular systems that embody best practices
• Driving the implementation of long-term investments, migrations, and refactoring initiatives within your organization
• Acting as a technology evangelist, fostering a culture of curiosity and active discussion around technology .
• Experimenting with new and relevant technologies and tools, driving their adoption while measuring the impact they can create
• Creating architectures and designs for new solutions in existing and emerging areas

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have 7 Years of experience with MTech/ME/BTech/BE in Computer Science or related field
• Have technically hands-on, prior experience with scalable Architecture , software engineering and product delivery experience
• Have exceptional coding skills in any Object-Oriented Programming language
• Experience with Python/Golang, problem-solving and analytical skills
• Have experience with containerized services, writing infrastructure and libraries
