The Role
As a Senior Finance Advisor in IT Services, you will be responsible for bringing financial leadership and insight to technology transformation programs, combining Financial Planning & Analysis, Pricing expertise, and Reporting & Analytics to enable stronger business outcomes. With a strong finance background and experience across cloud, infrastructure, security, and consultancy services, you will operate at the intersection of finance, technology, and strategy.
In this role, you will:

Lead financial planning, forecasting, and analysis for complex IT programs, applying quantitative analysis, financial modeling, and profit & loss (P&L) management to guide investment decisions and optimize client outcomes.

Provide pricing strategy and execution for client engagements, applying knowledge of commercial terms, contract negotiation, competitor analysis, and market insights to develop competitive, compliant, and profitable proposals.

Deliver reporting and analytics by designing and managing dashboards, predictive models, and business intelligence tools, ensuring data integrity and transforming insights into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.

Partner with consultants, architects, and program managers to embed financial discipline, pricing insights, and data-driven decision making into client advisory and delivery services, including hyperscaler engagements.

Support executive decision making through professional presentations, financial reporting (quarterly forecasts, signings & backlog, compliance), and the translation of technical-commercial complexities into clear business outcomes.

Contribute to thought leadership and market strategy by analyzing trends, customer financials, and performance metrics, supporting offering development and go-to-market activities.

Mentor colleagues in finance analytics, business metrics, and pricing governance, building capability across the broader consulting and delivery organization.

Who You Are
Required Technical and Professional Expertise

Finance Expertise: 5–10 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), including business case development, financial forecasting, P&L management, budget control, cash flow, cost optimization, and quarterly finance reporting.

Pricing & Commercial Acumen: Proven experience in pricing strategies, pricing analysis, contract negotiations, commercial terms and conditions, competitor analysis, and developing financial models for IT services and cloud/hyperscaler engagements.

Reporting & Analytics: Strong capabilities in financial and data analysis, business intelligence, dashboard reporting, predictive modeling, and professional presentation. Hands-on expertise with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP), Microsoft PowerPoint, SQL, and BI/dashboard tools.

Technology & IT Services Knowledge: Solid understanding of cloud, infrastructure, security, and IT consultancy services, with the ability to assess the financial impact of technology decisions.

Stakeholder Management: Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally, influence executive stakeholders, and communicate complex insights clearly.

Languages & Eligibility: Native/near-native Dutch and fluent English; Dutch passport required.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

Professional Certifications: Finance credentials such as RA/RC (Netherlands), CPA, or CFAl; IT-finance and cloud economics certifications such as FinOps Certified Practitioner or Technology Business Management (TBM).

Technology & Service Management: Vendor-neutral certifications such as ITIL 4 or COBIT, demonstrating governance and service management expertise.

Program & Project Management: Prince2, Agile/SAFe, or PMP certifications, supporting program governance in large-scale IT initiatives.

Security & Compliance (optional): Knowledge of financial governance within security programs, supported by certifications such as CISM, CISSP, or ISO 27001 Lead Auditor.

Academic Qualifications: A postgraduate degree such as an MBA with focus on IT & Finance is highly valued.

Technical Tools & Platforms: Experience with S/4 HANA, advanced BI/analytics platforms, or predictive modeling tools is a strong advantage.

Market & Commercial Insight: Proven ability to apply financial expertise to go-to-market strategies, market pricing, and competitor analysis, especially in cloud and hyperscaler contexts.
